Who did what where when?
musicDNA is a service that lets you find out more about the music you like and helps you discover new things to listen to.
It is an index of musicians - composers, performers, bands, artists, producers - their music, and the events that
link them with you the listener. You can sign up here already.
You can browse all this using this website, or from any musicDNA
enabled application or
device. musicDNA lets you add and edit your listening history, putting your listening into the same context as the music making.
You can do that here or automatically by using one of our scrobblers. Share tracks you've heard with your friends through
musicDNA or Facebook.
The full musicDNA service is not quite here yet, but musicGPS is already available for iPhone and iPod touch (OS 3.0), and in due course the iPad! -
find out more and download it from the iPhone App Store - and become a fan of musicDNA on Facebook now.
Love music facts and trivia?
musicDNA needs help from people who know a lot about music - people who know who did what, when and where. If that's you
we'd love you to share your knowledge with us. Sign up now and put yourself in the musicDNA universe, then let us know
who you're passionate about and we'll let you know how you can help. Be the first to tell us about your favourite music and
musicians and get your name recorded against the information.
Make music?
If you play in a band, make tracks or write symphonies, run a label or a publishing house then you can use musicDNA to map all
your musical activity. You can share this on an event by event basis so you can keep some stuff private while pushing public
data to your fans and customers. You can attach webpages, graphics, audio (in fact anything with a URL) to any topic in the index,
letting you build a browseable index of your catalogue, gig listings and track downloads.
